Elevators

This morning I failed to squeeze my way into the hospital elevator since there were like 25 people in front of me. So, I had to climb 13 flights of stairs in a shirt and tie to get to the neurosurgery floor ... Definitely not doing that again.

I've noticed how crowded they get, too. My strategy is to walk to the second floor to catch the elevator as it is going down to the first floor to pick people up. That way I avoid the mass waiting for it.

oh man.. when I was in NYC... the elevators especially in NYU were ridiculous. You could barely breathe. When the elevator would come to the first floor you would have to take it down to the basement and then ride up ( because if you waited for it to come on the way back from the basement you would never have room to get on ). The craziest thing was people fighting and kicking people out for space. In a hospital! Crazy.
